My Nakiri Knife

As a vegetarian myself I couldn't have gotten a better knife. Actually this knife was given to me by my chef mentor whom has been showing me everything I know now about vietnamese cooking. This same knife was also given to him by his mentor so it's cool to see it now with me. But anyways, why I love this knife so much? Well as a vegetarian this knife works perfect for all my vegetable mise en place. I use it to chop and dice all our veggie products and I even use it to supreme fruits. I know I should be using a much smaller pairing knife but i cant say I really need too. Cuts through veggies like butter and with the larger flat side i can use it to scoop. Its sturdy but light which allows me for more swift cuts and no aches on my wrist. What kind of knife do you have and why you love it so much??
